The Teenage Market is a unique opportunity for young entrepreneurs aged between 14 and 24 years old to run a market stall and sell their products or services to the public.
Organisers are looking for both young traders and young performers who want to showcase their talents and business ideas to the public.
Current applications for stalls include from clothing labels, accessory makers, painters, and other artists who produce unique gifts.
To enquire about a stall visit the Barnsley section of the Teenage Market website and click on the apply for a stall button.
The market takes place on Saturday 9 July between from 9:30am to 4:30pm and will be run from the Better Barnsley Shop on Cheapside. This is the same day as the Mayor’s Parade so town will be busy, which is good for business.
There are also opportunities for young people to become Better Barnsley Youth Ambassadors. Becoming an ambassador offers the opportunity to develop valuable work skills and experience, access work placements and have a career mentor, all whilst helping to improve the town.
