Rotherham’s top cop joined hundreds of people for an event to celebrate around 49,000 people who volunteer their time to help others.
Chief Superintendent Rob Odell, along with Specials and volunteers from the Force, took part in The Big Walk at Clifton Park on Tuesday (7 June) which was organised by Voluntary Action Rotherham (VAR) to mark National Volunteers’ Week.
Throughout June, VAR is hosting a number of celebratory events to recognise the volunteers who provide life-changing support for others from football training for children, to litter picks and peer support.
