Two businesses broken into in Wath, Rotherham

We need your help after two businesses in Wath, an ice-cream parlour and the indoor market, were broken into.


Sometime overnight on Friday 11 August and in to the early hours of the following morning, offenders unknown have broken into the indoor market, in Montgomery Square, entering via the roof of the building.


Extensive damage was caused to the building and money from the till and a charity box taken.


During the same time, Pastures Moo ice cream parlour, in Church Street was also broken into. Nothing was taken although damage was caused to the CCTV system.


Officers are treating the two incidents as linked and are appealing for anyone with information to contact them.
